Quarter 2 Blog Post 2

When Hannah went up the the guy who was giving the tattoos to people in the concentration camp, he told her what was her name and then the voices came back and told her to choose the name Chaya. When she told him that name, he tell her that Chaya was his daughter and that she was also wearing her dress. The name Chaya means life and also tell Hannah that she must leave this camp. For her safety and also for his daughter Chaya. So when she received her tattoo of her name which were codes that depict them based on their nationality.

A memory moment is when she was at the concentration camp and she was in line waiting to get her number tattooed on her arm. All of a sudden she started to hear voices saying "I GIVE THEM THIS". She didn't know who it was and she tried her hardest to remember who but the only thing she sees is a blurred vision that is really hard to remember.

  1. Great job finding a memory moment. Now, explain why this is important. What does it tell you about the conflict or theme? Does it help you make a prediction? Go a little further next time.
